Synopsis:
Jane Spencer Tarrant finds a half-dead man, victim of highwaymen, with amnesia and in possession of a jewel-encrusted box, the all-important key to a mystery.
My Review:
Good vintage Regency. Heroine is poor gentility who is working as a companion/governess. Hero is a gentleman she finds one night, on the side of the road, unconscious and with amnesia.
