Synopsis:
Amanda Lofton, daughter of a wealthy merchant, has everything--except a suitor who wants her love, not her money. Penniless Rance Straughn is urged by his family to court Amanda in order to solve his financial woes--but he'd rather earn his fortune in public boxing matches than marry. Now, the unconventional miss will risk her reputation and come out fighting with a bold plan to bring the man of her dreams to the altar.
My Review: Another clunker-I quit this one about 25 pages in-the writing was wordy and not appropriate to the time period.
